Hello and thanks for stopping by. I am a full time GP. I qualified in August 2009 and was a GP trainee in LNR ( Leicester ) deanery. This website is my hobby and has no affiliation to any organisation.
I started this website to collate useful information that I might use in my day to day practice. There are already some superb resources like gpnotebook etc. and this website does not provide such extensive information. I am merely collecting useful resources and publishing them here. The majority of work is my original though. Non original work is reproduced with permission or the original source credited. What makes this site unique is that it is a site for trainees by a trainee. What happens with this website now that I have finished my training ? Well, learning never stops and as I am new to General Practice and hope to become a trainer one day, I would like to keep on adding resources over the years.
A lot of stuff here is non-clinical. I have a few years of experience in Paediatrics and I hope to add useful resources in the coming months...things that might be useful for GPs and trainees alike. I am working with a couple of my colleagues at a hospice to provide some useful information with regards to palliative care (syringe drivers,etc). If anybody has any relevant information, please do get in touch and I shall add it here.
As the resources grow I hope this would be an oft used website.
